Epic Cheer and Dance welcomes beginners and advanced athletes from the community to take classes with our world class staff.

 

Classes are offered in tumbling, dance and also Flight school. (Descriptions below)

Tiny Tumble: Beginning tumble class for athletes ages 3-5

Beginner & Level 1 Tumble: Tumble class for beginning tumblers ages 6 and above who are working on gaining the following skills – cartwheels, round-offs, forward/backward rolls, back and front walkovers, and handstands. Class will have at least two coaches to work with athletes and will utilize the track, rod floor, and/or cheer floor, as appropriate for each individual athlete.

Level 1/2 Tumble: Tumble class for tumblers who are actively working on gaining the following skills – standing back handsprings, round-off back handsprings, and series back handsprings. (All athletes in this class should already have a solid back walkover/ round-off.) Class will have at least two coaches to work with athletes and will utilize the track, rod floor, and/or cheer floor, as appropriate for each individual athlete.

Level 3+ Tumble: Tumble class for more advanced tumblers who are actively working on gaining the following skills Рround-off back handspring tucks, standing tucks, punch fronts, whips, layouts, and fulls.  All athletes in this class should already have solid level 2 skills such as back handsprings and round-off back handsprings without assistance. Class will have at least two coaches to work with athletes and will utilize the track, rod floor, and/or cheer floor, as appropriate for each individual athlete.

Cheer Fundamentals: This class is open for athletes that are new to cheer or who are developing proficiency in the fundamentals of cheer.

Stunt/Flyer Class: Stunting class designed to provide flyers with specific skills and techniques necessary to successfully fly in level appropriate stunts on an All-Star Cheer team. These classes are broken up by level to suit those flyers and stunt teams on the same level team as the class. This class is required for all All-Star Cheer team flyers!

Jump/Flex: Targeted class to improve overall flexibility, and form and height of jumps. These class are broken up by level and should be attended by those athletes on the same level team as the class.

Beginning Hip Hop Tricks: This class is designed to introduce athletes to the tricks frequently included in All-Star Dance hip hop routines. Class will also provide necessary conditioning to improve muscle strength, as required for hip hop.

Advanced Hip Hop: This class is designed for more experienced hip hop dancers to work on and acquire more advanced hip hop tricks.

Open Gym: This class is designed to be less structured and allow athletes to work on the skills of their choosing. The gym floor will be divided into four distinct sections to allow athletes to work on tumbling, jumps, stunting, and conditioning. Athletes may move from area to area, but must be actively participating in one station at any given time.
